About this space

 

Welcome to The Casita, our Mediterranean inspired beach bungalow in the Outer Banks. The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. We designed and renovated this beach cottage to exude inspiration from those experiences and create an escape for ourselves and to share with others. We look forward to hosting you!

 

The space

The Casita is a quintessential beach bungalow located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills close to the beach, bay, restaurants and attractions! The space is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time in the Outer Banks! A few highlights:

Every detail was considered when designing a holiday escape for our guests. The home affords an open concept living & kitchen space, 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds & 1 luxurious bathroom.

There are 2 bedrooms in the home, both with queen sized beds and a dresser/ armoire, as well as a TV equipped with Amazon Firesticks. The main living space offers a deep, comfy sofa perfect for afternoon naps as you feel the summer breezes flowing through the home. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a central island perfect for gathering around and spending time with friends and family. The kitchen is also equipped with a washer and dryer for guest use.

The backyard is perfect for all of your outdoor activities. Enjoy relaxing in the hammock or the lounge chairs during the day, or have a BBQ with the grill and picnic table under the string lights in the evening. Finish your night by gathering around the fire pit under the stars. And finally, no matter what time of the day, the rain head outdoor shower is perfect for cooling off and relaxing.

STRICT NO SMOKING & NO PET POLICY - If you are found to be smoking within the home or bring a pet, there will be $500 fine.

Other things to note

The shed in the backyard will have 3-4 bikes for your use. Also in the shed is a Solo Stove fire pit (wood not included). We also have a paddle board that we provide at your request. Simply reach out to us and let us know that you would be interested in enjoying those activities, and we can ensure that those items are on site and available to you.
