About this space

Welcome to The Cabin, our little log cabin at the beach in the Outer Banks. We stumbled on to the cabin and fell in love! Over the course of a year we lived in & renovated this wonderful home. It was our hope to create a space that feels warm, inviting & unique. The final result was a space that we loved sharing with friends and family, and now we are thrilled to be able to share it with our guests. We are so happy to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

 

The space

The Cabin is a unique beach cabin located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills close to the beach, bay, restaurants and attractions! The space is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time in the Outer Banks! A few highlights:

Every detail was considered when designing a holiday escape for our guests. The home affords a spacious layout in a beautiful log-cabin setting.

There are 3 bedrooms in the home. The primary bedroom is on the first floor with a king sized mattress. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, each with 2 queen sized beds and a dresser/ armoire. The main living space offers a deep, comfy sofa perfect for afternoon naps as you feel the summer breezes flowing through the home. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a central island perfect for gathering around and spending time with friends and family. The kitchen is also equipped with a washer and dryer for guest use. In the dining room, you will find a large table perfect for family gatherings.

The backyard is a real show stopper - perfect for all of your outdoor activities. Enjoy the sprawling lawn to layout, play games, or any other activities you can think of at the beach! Take time relaxing in the hammock or the lounge chairs during the day, or have a BBQ with the grill and picnic tables under the string lights in the evening. Finish your night by gathering around the fire pit under the stars. And finally, no matter what time of the day, the dual rain head outdoor shower is perfect for cooling off and relaxing.

STRICT NO SMOKING & NO PET POLICY - If you are found to be smoking within the home or bring a pet, there will be $500 fine.

Other things to note

The garage has a secondary fridge for guest use. It is also equipped with at least 6 bikes - sometimes up to 10 for guest use. Also in the garage are some lawn games including corn hole and bocce.
